Join the Everson Museum of Art for an afternoon of creativity, community, and collective action. Signs of Solidarity: Art & Activism brings together artists, activists, and community members to explore how art can inspire change and strengthen connections.
During this event you can:
-Create your own activist signs and buttons
-Connect with local community organizations and get involved
-Join ArtRage Gallery to create 10×10 activist artworks for their upcoming Off the Wall exhibition and fundraiser benefiting their social justice exhibits and programming
-Join a walking tour from the Museum to Brewer Harris Projects to see their special exhibition Freedom and Control
-Attend a docent-led tour of special exhibitions featuring the work of Federico Solmi, Joyce Kozloff, and Laurent Craste.
Co-presented with CNY Solidarity Coalition, this event invites you to gather in solidarity and imagine what's possible—together.
