Friday – Optional Shadow Day at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers (9am–3pm)

Begin your weekend inside our iconic 50-chair Atlanta salon. Observe our talented French cutters and painters working with real guests in real time. This complimentary open-house experience offers the opportunity to observe balayage and French techniques in their natural environment and to immerse yourself in our culture and methodology.

Saturday – Intensive Hands-On Workshop at SunQ (Sunlights Headquarters)

Saturday is a full day of learning at SunQ, home of Sunlights® education. You’ll refine your understanding of creative placement, mixing, saturation, brushwork, body mechanics, and Candy’s Signature Blonding approach. Work through theory, demonstrations, workbook guidance, and hands-on mannequin training in an intimate environment designed to sharpen your skills and elevate your artistry.

Sunday – Live Guests + Applied Blonding at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers

Return to the salon to put everything into practice. The morning begins with live demos from our top artists.
In the afternoon, you’ll execute a complete live highlighting model—a unique opportunity to bring your Saturday learning directly onto a real guest, provided by our academy. Guided mentorship and real-time feedback ensure clarity, confidence, and mastery as you take your blonding to the next level.
