A celebration of dance with The Sarasota Ballet Studio Company

Showcasing a mix of traditional ballet and contemporary dance, this unique performance is a must for dance lovers. As a recent recipient of the Outstanding School Award from Youth America Grand Prix – this is a special opportunity to see the young and talented dancers from The Sarasota Ballet Studio Company and students from The Margaret Barbieri Conservatory in an intimate setting.

About

As part of the Education Department, The Sarasota Ballet Studio Company provides an opportunity for young dancers to prepare for a professional career. The Studio Company provides a comprehensive training curriculum for dancers to refine their artistic and technical skills alongside gaining valuable performance experience.

Studio Company members have the chance to rotate into main Company class and understudy main Company roles. Many of the 2024-25 Studio Company members are graduates of The Margaret Barbieri Conservatory’s Trainee Program.

Performing in the local community is an important part of the Studio Company’s outreach. In previous years, the Studio Company has performed as part of a collaboration with Key Chorale, Liechtenstein Nights at Marie Selby Gardens and at retirement communities including Plymouth Harbor and Valencia Lakes.

• The Bay park address is 1055 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota, FL 34236.
• Free parking is located along Blvd of the Arts and Van Wezel Way, in front of the Van Wezel and the Blue Pagoda Welcome Center (655 N Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34236). Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas.
• Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.
• For outdoor performances, please bring a chair to ensure you have a comfortable seat. If the concert moves indoors, chairs will be provided.
• All pets must be non-aggressive and on a leash at all times. Owners are expected to pick up after their pets.
