A curated night of experimental sound featuring ambient drift, industrial textures, live sampling, improvisation and electronic noise from Canberra’s underground artists.MELT
Melt began as a solo project for Jordan Rodger over a decade ago, as an outlet for improvisation. Currently performing as a Quintet, the roster features Jordan Rodger (guitar) with Advait Thakur (bass/clarinet), John Binos (piano), Sam Eggins (drums) and Paul Young (drums). The group have been working together to improvise over loose compositions spanning previous Melt releases - based around Jordan's guitar improvisations – built from loops, melodies, textures walking the road paved by post-rock heroes such as Tortoise and the International Anthem roster, while also incorporating jazz, noise-rock elements and Fugazi-style grooves

ORTHOTYP-A
Orthotyp-a spans sound art, live performance and audiovisual installation through a practice grounded in improvisation, drone, and post-minimalist composition. Centred on the manipulation and reconfiguration of sampled material, Orthotyp-a blurs the boundaries between composition, noise and ambience, favouring anarchic and process-driven methods that resist fixed structure. They have presented at ElectroFringe, Boxcopy and Modifyre Festival, with releases through HyperChaos and hellosQuare Records, and has featured in exhibitions such as Dualist Engine (2025) and presentations with the Institute of Modern Art (2024).

MARLENE CLAUDINE RADICE
Marlené Claudine Radice is an Australian composer who specialises in notated electroacoustic composition by exploring how art and sound compliment one another. Taking recorded sounds away from their original sources, they process and manipulate these into new musical structures. Raw industrial noises, looped voices and hypnotic soundscapes are layered to create a nuanced and original sound.

ALPHAMALE
ALPHAMALE is a solo experimental viola x electronics project by Hannah de Feyter. Her work includes sonic installation with Chamber Made and Now or Never Festival, theatrical sound design for Canberra Theatre Centre and Ainslie & Gorman Arts Centres, and soundtracks for a series of films with feminist erotica project A Four Chambered Heart. With her duo project Cilt, featuring vocalist and audio engineer Aphir, she frequently live scores silent films highlighting the forgotten or under-celebrated contributions of women to the early film industry.
