We are pleased to be holding a sighthound social dog walk at Woodbank Park on Sunday 27th October. Full details are:Address: Woodbank Park, Turncroft lane, Offerton, Stockport SK1 4JR
Time: Meet at 9.30 to set off at 10 am
Meet: at the Woodbank Car Park on Little Moor Lane, SK1 4BL. *This is the meeting point.*
There will be a choice of two walks, one of 30 minutes or a longer one of an hour.
All dogs must remain on leads, no extendable leads please.
Suggested £2 donation per hound.
This is a sighthound only walk but companion dogs who live with a sighthound are welcome too.
Merchandise will be available after the walk - coats, collars, treats etc.
The café in the park, run by Pure Innovations, is kindly going to offer free biscuits for hounds and humans, after the walk. Thanks to Makants volunteer Paul Wainhouse for arranging this.
**Halloween Fancy Dress theme, prize for the best dressed hound**
“This is a social walking event organised by Makants Greyhound Rescue. You are responsible for yourself and your dog (s). Suitable footwear and clothing is advised . “
