✊ Aicinām jūs arī šogad pievienoties Sieviešu Solidaritātes gājienam! Tiksimies 8. martā pulksten 12:00 pie Brīvības pieminekļa! Pēc uzrunām pie Brīvības pieminekļa visi dosimies pa Kaļķu ielu, tad - līdz Doma laukumam, un tālāk Saeimas virzienā. Gājiens noslēgsies Jēkaba laukumā pie Saeimas.

💜 Šī gada gājienā vēlamies uzsvērt, ka sieviešu un meiteņu tiesības nav pašsaprotamas – tās ir jāaizsargā un par tām ir jāturpina cīnīties. Mēs redzam, ka demokrātija visā pasaulē saskaras ar izaicinājumiem, un līdz ar to apdraudētas tiek arī cilvēktiesības un līdztiesība. Tur, kur pieaug autoritāras tendences, sieviešu tiesības bieži ir pirmās, kas tiek ierobežotas. Tur, kur notiek bruņoti konflikti, sievietes un meitenes ir starp tām, kas cieš visvairāk. Taču vēsture mums māca – demokrātija un līdztiesība ir ne tikai vērtības, ko aizstāvēt, bet arī spēks, kas spēj nest pārmaiņas. Tāpēc šis gājiens ir aicinājums mums visiem: saglabāt modrību, turpināt būt aktīviem un iestāties par sabiedrību, kurā brīvība, tiesiskums un cieņa pret katru cilvēku ir pamatvērtības.

🎨 7. martā no 17:00 līdz 19:00 Pils ielā 21, Rīgā, darbosies plakātu darbnīca, kurā būs iespējas radoši izpausties un izgatavot plakātus gājienam!

✊ We invite you once again to join the Women's Solidarity March! We'll meet on March 8th at 12:00 PM by the Freedom Monument. After speeches by the Freedom Monument, the march will proceed along Kaļķu Street, then to Dome Square, then past the Parliament, and will conclude at Jēkaba Square by the Parliament.
💜 This year's march highlights a crucial message: women's rights and freedoms cannot be taken for granted – they must be protected and fought for. Across the world, we see democracies facing increasing pressure, and with that, human rights and equality are under threat. Where authoritarian ideas gain ground, women’s rights are often among the first to be restricted. Where military conflicts arise, women and girls are among those who suffer the most. Yet history teaches us that democracy and equality are not just ideals to defend – they are powerful forces for change. This march is a call to all of us to remain vigilant, to stay active, and to stand up for a society where freedom, justice, and respect for every individual remain non-negotiable.
🎨 On March 7th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Pils Street 21, Riga, there will be a poster workshop where you'll have the opportunity to creatively express yourself and make posters for the march on the following day!
