We’re clearing the grounds so that the land can heal and the people who rely on this space can feel supported. A clean environment helps restore dignity, safety, and community. What we'll be doing? Picking up litter around the grounds using rakes and grabber tools. It’s not recommended to use bare hands. We’ll clear pathways, help reset the environment and support staff and residents with a cleaner outdoor space.
What to wear? Closed toe shoes, long pants, comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and weather appropriate layers. Dress for safety, comfort and movement.
We'll provide - Trash bags, extra gloves, guidance and support through a quick run through before we begin
Safety & Respect - be mindful of resident and staff; this is their home. Move in pairs or small groups. If you see something hazardous, alert a team lead. No photography of residents.
Meet across the street opposite side of the main entrance. We’ll gather as a group for instructions.
