Public Art Saint Paul is celebrating 15 years of Sidewalk Poetry!Join us for free poetry workshops through the month of March as we hold our 2023 Sidewalk Poetry Contest. Submissions are open now through April 3rd!
**All workshops will be taught in English but will explore poetry in the languages presented by the Sidewalk Poetry Contest.**
Registration for these workshops is highly encouraged, but all workshops are free and open to the public!
Masks are optional at these workshops, and extra personal protective equipment will be available for students to use.

Workshop teacher: Tanagidan To Win (Tara Perron) is a Dakota and Ojibwe mother. In 2020, she wrote Takoza Walks with the Blue Moon Girl, Animals of Nimaamaa-Aki, and Animals of Khéya Wíta. These indigenous children’s books are language books. Tanagidan To Win works with plant medicine and creates a variety of indigenous arts. She was a 2021 Sidewalk Poetry Contest winner.
