Sidewalk Festival: Artists Q & A Session (In-Person)

Sidewalk Detroit is gearing up for the 10th bi-annual Sidewalk Festival!

This summer’s theme is Wild. Resistance. Rhythm. Story - inspiring artists to transform public spaces with bold, site-specific performances, interactive installations, music, dance and community-centered experiences. The festival reimagines parks, streets and neighborhoods as dynamic stages for artistic expression, emphasizing environmental justice, spatial equity and local engagement.

We’re excited to invite creatives who are ready to bring this vision to life. This in-person session will take place at Eliza Howell Park to provide further details and answer any questions after the application launches online. Participating artists will need to align with the theme and guidelines and attend a mandatory site visit before the event.
