Fall SideQuest: Build Your Party
You have a goal ahead of you. The question is whether you have the right people around you to accomplish it.
As organizations grow, it is easy to default to hiring people who think like us, work like us, or resemble the people who have succeeded before. But growth often requires something different.
You may need someone who sees what you miss, builds what you imagine, strengthens what you have already started, or brings an entirely different perspective to the table.
Fall SideQuest: Build Your Party is a practical, interactive networking experience for business owners, organizational leaders, nonprofit leaders, and people managers who want to think more intentionally about the people, skills, partnerships, and perspectives they need for what comes next.
Rather than starting with a job title or simply replacing the person who left, we will start with the work ahead.
Your Evening Quest: Build Your Party
During the evening, you will explore:
- what your organization needs to accomplish over the next 6 to 12 months;
- the strengths and capabilities already within your current team or network;
- where important gaps may exist;
- what your next hire, partner, collaborator, or connection actually needs to contribute; and
- who may have knowledge, experience, resources, or introductions that can help move your next quest forward.
During the featured Guild Hall experience, you will:
Name the Quest
Identify the most important thing your organization needs to accomplish next.
Inventory Your Party
Take stock of the people, strengths, skills, and perspectives you already have around you.
Find the Missing Character
Define what may be missing before deciding who you need to hire, partner with, or bring into the conversation.
Visit the Adventure Board
Share a current challenge and discover people in the room who may be able to offer insight, experience, connections, or support.
You will leave with a clearer picture of what your organization needs next and a more intentional approach to building the team, partnerships, and relationships that can help you get there.
The SideQuest Golden Rule
Your corporate job title is not your main stat.
We are here to exchange side quests, share hyper-fixations, ask for help, and find new people to co-op with. Leave the sales pitch behind.
