SIDELINE SUPPORT Mental Health Training Program for Coaches & Sports Leader
About this Event
Sideline Support™ is a two-hour in-person mental health-forward training program for Coaches, Athletic Directors, and Youth Sports Leaders, hosted at a Colorado high school, or library, central to registered participants. Participants will receive a guided workbook (playbook) and take part in an interactive learning experience that includes open discussion, reflection, scenario practice, and role playing.
The training is designed to help participants better recognize when an athlete may be struggling, respond with care while staying within their role, and connect athletes to appropriate support. The session also explores how coaching language, feedback, team culture, and everyday interactions can strengthen athlete well-being without lowering standards.
The training will take place on Saturday, June 27th at 10:00am at Southglenn Library, Meeting Room A, located at 6972 S. Vine St., Centennial, CO 80122. Please join the interest list to receive session updates!
Snacks and Beverages will be provided!
