Side by Side Acting for Tweens and Teens

Some of our most talented actors never get the opportunity to show their skills in front of a camera, and some of them never get the depth of technique only a theatre acting class can provide. This acting class will practice the skills needed by every actor to transition seemlessly between acting for the stage and acting for the camera. It will be 3 days of script analysis, workshopping, and a final live presentation for parents. The presentation will showcase students' work first as a live studio performance and next as a piece of cinema. Through this Spring Break intensive, students will work together and individually to strengthen their acting skills so they can take advantage of more performance opportunities in the DMV area- whether on stage or in front of the camera. Footage from the class can be a great addition to any young actor's demo reel. Class size is limited to the first 20 that buy. Wait list will be available.

About the Teacher;

Mandy Steen is the Executive Producer of Seen & Heard Productions, an organization that creates inspirational films and provides low cost access to performing and media arts classes. As an alumn of The Juilliard School of Drama (Group 34) and a teacher with 15 years of teaching experience, Ms. Steen specializes in developing actors of all ages and developmental abilities.
