Two independent businesses coming together to create evenings that are personal, authentic, and deeply rooted in culture, community, and flavour.
✨ Our first collaboration evening will take place on 30/05/2026 at Wine Monkey, where Head Chef Matteo Romeo Marais (from The Duke) will be cooking a selection of vibrant Catalan tapas, paired with an excellent selection of Catalan wine inspired by Bryan's time spent living in French Catalonia, where his wine journey began.
✨ The second event — The Sicilian Supper Club — will be hosted here at The Duke Hotel on 27/06/2026.
This menu is especially close to Chef Matteo’s heart, celebrating his Sicilian heritage through a tasting experience of traditional dishes and flavours from the island:
* Wild mushroom arancini & truffle cream
* Parmigiana di melanzane
* Octopus carpaccio with orange & fennel
* Casarecce alla Norma
* Sea bream with saffron potato cream & salmoriglio sauce
* Pistachio semifreddo
* Sicilian lemon granita with brioche col tuppo
Alongside the meal, Bryan will guide guests through a pairing of premium Southern Italian wines included in the price, carefully selected to complement each course and tell the story of Sicily through its vineyards.
We cannot wait to share these evenings with you all.
