Sibs, this month we will have an extra special opportunity to participate in GigiFit. Join our team NCDSA Sibshop Crew at Urban Air, Raleigh from 10-2 for an afternoon of FUN for a cause! Plan for GiGi's Fit Jump Fun from 10-12 and lunch following from 12-2 with our Sib crew! All siblings ages 8-14 of an individual with Down syndrome are encouraged to attend. Sibshops may be “therapeutic” for kids to attend, but they are not therapy. The Sibshop model takes a wellness perspective. They’re a celebration of the many lifelong contributions made by brothers and sisters of people with special health and developmental needs. There will be games, food, and tons of fun. Sibs are welcome to attend any or all Sibshops.
