Shut Up, This is Serious

In collaboration with Chicanx Latinx Student Development, the YWCA Berkeley/Oakland will open their space to the community to come meet Carolina Ixta and to talk about relevant topics in her book Shut Up, This is Serious. Carolina Ixta is a writer from Oakland, California. A daughter of Mexican immigrants, she received her B.A. in Creative Writing and Spanish Language and Literature at the University of California, Santa Cruz and obtained her Master's degree in Education at the University of California, Berkeley. Her book talks about important topics, relevant in today's world and political climate!

This event will be hybrid! Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
