Shut Up & Write @ Harriett’s Bookshop

Led by Thalia Elie, this series is about writing together, in a shared communal space, but in focused silence—so we finally get to The End of our current works in progress.

Studies show that expressive writing can have the same effects on our brains as prayer and meditation--improving mood, regulating emotions, and boosting our immune systems. Therefore we've designed a place for folks to shut up and write--together.

Each session will include:

A super short literary discussion

Intense social silence

Time to share and listen

Time to buy books before the shop opens to the public
