A shrimp plate lunch on a Friday during Lent, who can resist?, plus when it's for such a great cause?! We will be selling a 1lb boiled shrimp and fixin' plate for $12 each, with all proceeds going to support Dularge resident Jimmy Armstrong. He was recently diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and is fighting an uphill battle with an aggressive version of the condition and the mounting expenses not covered by his insurance, made worse by lost income wages for him and his wife, who also had to leave her full time job to now be his primary caregiver, of which insurance also doesn't support in home medical assistance. Crazy right...for a condition that renders you unable to do all things on your own anymore. But we are not giving up without a fight and want to make sure Jimmy has access to the care he needs to fight this and live comfortable, while not having to worry about keeping a roof over his head, so he can focus on healing.
Thank you for your support and participation in advance. If your office or group orders 10 plates or more, we will deliver them to you if you are in the local area. Otherwise, you can pick up your plate(s) through the drive thru window at Main Pass Seafood in Houma from 10am-2pm.
You can preorder by sending $12 through Venmo to @tammyusie (last 4 = 7270) and provide the name of who will pick up your plate. You can also pay when you get there by cash or a check to Tammy Usie, until supplies last.

We are accepting teams for a $125 entry fee to compete for awards in chicken or ribs. We will have live music, a silent auction and even a live auction at 2pm. Buy an all you can eat BBQ plate for only $10 starting at 11am.
We hope to see you Friday or Saturday to support this loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend that has always been the one to give to others and work his tail off to keep on keeping on, so we are blessed to be able to pay it forward to help support him and his wife Pam as they make this transition with his quickly
progressing ALS condition.
