Vyaktitva - Mapping the Warrior, Settler, and Nomad Personalities within you through Classical Dance, Somatics, and Psychology

Ever felt torn between wanting to set a fierce boundary, wanting to keep the peace, and secretly wishing you could drop everything and run wild?

You are not indecisive, your personalities are in conflict.

Inside each of us live three distinct psychological forces: the firm Warrior (Durga), the grounded and nurturing Settler (Saraswati & Lakshmi), and the free-spirited Nomad (Meera Bai). When these parts pull in opposite directions, we feel stuck, exhausted, or divided. When we learn to listen to them, they become our greatest source of inner balance and confidence.

Join us for Vyaktitva, an immersive workshop where classical Indian dance meets somatic psychology and Dance Movement Therapy.

Open to everyone (18+)—absolutely no prior dance experience is needed.

What to expect:

Live Kathak Vignettes: Watch the fierce resolve of Durga, the rooted grace of Saraswati & Lakshmi, and the ecstatic devotion of Meera come alive.

Dance Movement Therapy: Physically embody the firm, the grounded, and the free within your own nervous system.

Psychological Mapping: Unpack your unique archetype mix with guided introspection to resolve inner friction and respond to life's challenges with intention.

Mode of Exploration:

Body-Based & Somatic Movement: Guided movement experiments using Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) principles (no dance experience needed)

Classical Textual Wisdom: Grounded in aesthetic frameworks from the Natyashastra and Abhinaya Darpana.

Verbal & Expressive Processing: Structured dialogue, expressive writing, and small-group inquiries to bridge movement insights into clear cognitive understanding.

Safe Group Container: Interactive, non-judgmental group exercises that foster authentic peer connection and mutual support

Who Must Attend

Dancers & Movement Artists: Classical, contemporary, or freestyle practitioners looking to deepen their expressive vocabulary through a psychological and somatic lens.

Individuals Seeking Grounded Confidence: Anyone struggling with self-doubt, people-pleasing, or speaking up, who wants to build presence using the body as a primary resource.
