Class 1: Starter Stakes – X Poles (can be led or assisted)

Class 2: Mini – Fences not to exceed 50cm

**Please be respectful to others when entering classes, anyone deemed to be in the wrong class, will be asked to compete HC or to move to a more appropriate class **
Rosettes: 1st- 6th place
£££ Cash Prizes per class if entries are sufficient.

RULES
1. All horses and ponies must be 4 years and over.
2. Hats conforming to BRC standard must be worn and always fastened when mounted.
3. No entry fees will be refunded except on production of a medical or veterinary certificate before the start of the class.
4. It is a condition of entry that the organisers are indemnified against damage or loss to spectators, competitors, etc that may arise out of, or during this event.
5. The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone at the event. Everyone attending must also take responsible precautions to avoid accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and their officials.
6. The judge’s decision is final. Objections must be made in writing within 15 minutes of the class ending, together with a deposit of £10 which, in the event of the objection being upheld, will be refunded.
7. All children (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult who will always be responsible for them.
8. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owners, and the organisers will not be liable for any damage thereto, whatsoever or howsoever caused, including the negligence of the organisers.
9. The organisers will not accept any liability for any injury, loss or damage to any competitor or his/her horse, whatsoever or howsoever caused, including the negligence of the organisers.
10. All dogs must be always kept on a lead under proper control.
11. Any person seen to mistreat their horse/pony or misuse of the whip/spurs or bad language will be asked to leave the showground.
12. To be run under British Riding Club rules unless stated.
13. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to the competition/showground.
14. Horses must be walked in the showground except in the designated working in areas.
15. Horseboxes are not to be mucked out in the parking area.
Dress and Tack Code: Please note for this event CBRC are running a relaxed dress code. Tack is still to be BRC Legal. Dress must be safe riding attire with appropriate riding footwear, jodhpurs, smart (pref collared top – polo shirt is ideal) and a riding hat. (see rule 2 above)
Sunshine Tour: This show is a qualifier for The Sunshine Tour Championships held at The All-England Showground, Hickstead from Thursday 17th – Sunday 20th September 2026. The Championships are for unaffiliated and amateur competitors in Dressage from Intro to Elementary, Show Jumping from Lead Rein to 1.0m; Showing for lead rein, in-hand, ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus many more, Eventer’s Challenge from 50cm through to 90cm.
Qualification: Dressage & Show Jumping 1st – 3rd place; Showing & Eventers Challenge 1st – 4th place. Qualification does not pass down the line.
