The rhythm of Japan is coming to Perth!
Wadaiko professionals and performers from across Australia will unite in one spectacular celebration of Japanese culture, music, and community in the SHOWCASE CONCERT

Experience the power, energy, and spirit of Wadaiko with 60 performers beating an unforgettable rhythm together
Taiko On Perth are hosting 5 Wadaiko Teams from QLD NSW VIC and SA for workshops, training, rehearsals and a Collaborative Ensemble Concert with up to 60 drummers performing together.
Taiko Leaders and Professionals with be teaching and performing, including Toshi Sakamoto - WADAIKO RINDO, Masae Ikegawa and Graham Hilgendorf - YuNiOn, Ryuji Hamada - TAIKOZ, Nicole Edwards - MATSURI TAIKO, Ben and Rachel - UQ TAIKO, as well as our own Simon Vanyai and Jet Kye Chong - TAIKO ON
For the Taiko players from around Australia, this is our chance to see what each other does live, and there will be lots of collaboration - playing with each other's pieces together for the first time. It will be a very relaxed and casual performance with emphasis on Fun!
