The 2024 Hartford Improv Festival is proud to present this improv comedy show featuring these great teams!

The onstage dnd comedy adventure, where YOU create the heroes, YOU cast the spells, and YOU roll the (20 sided) die!
No need to bring your playe's handbook; those unfamiliar with dnd will laugh as much as the hardcore fans; we create a fantasy narrative improv entirely based on audience suggestions, letting your input shape the story throughout the show. Show up early and you'll receive one of our spell scrolls, gaining access to powerful magics that can alter the story!

Last time, on Magical Boy Transformation, our heroes, every day people and improvisers Josuel and Josh, drawn together by their love of Japanese animation and comic books, agreed to try and improvise a full anime on the improv stage. Little did they know, that when they combined their efforts on stage something unexpected started to happen, they began transforming into the characters, the stage began to transform into beautiful anime settings, and the story they were telling transformed in to an exciting anime arc. Now this time, they are up against the audience's next suggestion of something mundane they want to be the greatest, stay tuned, and get your suggestions ready, for the coming episode of Magical Boy Transformation!

The KINGDOM KIDS are a silly, wild and witty trio of improvisers who perform regularly at Vermont Comedy Club in Burlington, VT. Its members all hail from the same rural corner of the Green Mountain State. In their show, they ask audience members about the landmarks, traditions and weird facts that make their own hometowns memorable, then base their comedy on these conversations!
Nathan, Natalie and Brian are also founding members of the now-defunct team The Unmentionables, which performed for many years at HIF!
