Show & Tell: Artifact or Nah?
Join Silly Science Club for our first event of the summer, an evening or curosity, conversation, and mystery objects.
We'll kick things off with a little time to mingle before hearing from guest expert Dr. Blair Zaid, a STEM educator, nonprofit leader, and lifelong learner with PhDs in African American/Black Studies and Anthropology. She will share how archaeologists use observation, science, and critical thinking to uncover stories from the past.
Then it's your turn.
Bring an object that you've always wondered about! Found it in your grandma's attic? Picked it up at the thrift? Just convinced you have something ancient? Bring it.
No STEM background, archaeology knowledge or expertise required just curosity, and of course you.
