Videodrome + Visual Vengeance + Atlanta Film Freak Society present the Shot on Shitteo “film” Festival and VHS Market Saturday August 30th!! This all day event features a carefully curated selection of eight mind melting analog “shot on VHS” oddities hailing from the 80s and 90s. What these cult movies lack in “professionalism” and “production values” (or even narrative coherence) they more than make up for with an aplomb of DIY low fi charm. And while we’re projecting these shot-in-the backyard epics (as they were never meant to be seen… on the big screen) over in the lobby Tombstone Horror will be hosting a VHS Market featuring vendors selling awesome physical media and collectible goodies. Plus courtesy of Visual Vengeance there will be a game show- trivia- prizes- giveaways- and other surprises. If you’re a true film freak the Shot on Shitteo “film” Festival and VHS Market promises to be the event of the year!Doors open @12pm movies begin @1 pm
