Short Film Open Mic: Night 1

This is a short open mic film club event. It is an approximate 2 hour program of short films and then a 1 hour meet and greet with fellow filmmakers to connect and create community.

SUBMIT YOUR SHORTS RULES: We encourage all short films submissions to be under 10 min long. Any films that exceed up to 10 mins can still be up for consideration as long as they are incredibly great but for a higher chance of showing that night it's best to have it under 10 mins. No short films over 30 minutes. Any film that is clearly offensive and shows no artistic integrity or inappropriate will not be considered.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR SHORT: We will fill up our program on whomever submits and confirms

first!

Email a downloadable link of your short film to [email protected] in order to be considered. IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR EMAIL WRITE: LA SHORT FILM OPEN MIC SHORT SUBMISSION + the title of your film.

In your email please include your contact information and social media handles so we can stay connected and create community. All filmmakers will be notified before the event that way you have the opportunity to invite all your friends and family an supporters. If we have an outstanding amount of submission we will add on another open mic night within the month.

Short Submission is free, but admission to the event is $20.For every three guests you bring, you'll receive one complimentary ticket! Please note that all attendees are required to purchase a ticket. Filmmakers will receive a promo code for discounted admission for themselves and their guest.

To avoid Eventbrite fees, we recommend paying at the door.

Paid Parking at 1110 N Western Ave at 5-10$.

Street Parking. Metered Parking.
