Getting to the root of TRAUMA, SUICIDE and MENTAL HEALTH in the minority community
Barbers and hairstylists often engage in informal counseling within our salons where hair represents a visual cue of how someone is feeling and often the complex outpouring of internal struggles. This workshop is designed to train barbers and stylists to become aware and more responsive to mental health dynamics within the Black community.
