Shop & Save this Tax-Free Weekend - Benefitting CavLounge

The need is real, and this weekend, your school supplies, clothes, shoes, backpacks, and more (less than $100 per item) can all be purchased tax-free. While you are out saving for back to school, consider shopping local and adding a few extras to your cart!

At LTISD CavLounge, students "shop" for necessary items. These include shoes, pants, pens, or even hot soups and granola bars. Need some inspiration? Check out their wishlist items, and then get out there!

Tax-Free Items from the Comptroller

• Where you, any LTHS student, can “shop” for free items, so you can focus on your studies…
• Where there is access to food, clothing, personal items, school supplies, when you don’t have enough…
• Where there are dresses, shirts and shoes, when they aren’t in the budget…
• Where it doesn’t matter if you’re rich, poor, athletic, smart or struggling…everyone needs help now and then…

Where confidentiality is a top priority!

Deliveries can start arriving on August 8, 2022. You can drop off new items at the high school front office, M-F between 8:30-3:30. They will deliver it to us.

The CavLounge will open on August 16, 2022. The Amazon Wish List is to let you know where we need the most help. We remain flexible when it comes to brands, colors, sizes unless specifically stated in the notes.
