Join us for a night under the stars in the forest preserve to view the Draconids meteor shower, which owes its name to the constellation Draco the Dragon in the northern sky. The meteors from the Draconids meteor shower are from the dust left by a passing comet.
Bring camping chairs, blankets, coolers and beverages and settle in for an evening under the stars. We will have a fire going for treats. Bring an instrument to play if you are so inclined. All levels of skill are welcome.
Fee: Free!
Age: All ages.
Registration required by Friday, October 8, by calling 708.534.8499 or online: https://apm.activecommunities.com/fpdwc/Activity_Search/shooting-stars-viewing-campfire/7829
