Volleyball Game Rules (UNIFORMS REQUIRED)
Game/Players
1. Each team member must wear the same color jersey with numbers on the back, or (same color shirt w/ numbers). Team will forfeit that match if team does not have uniforms.
2. Each team must have 6 players on the court to play, and team members must be on the roster to play.
3. Each team will have 3 minutes of warm up time before their game.
4. Game time is forfeit time. Teams should be ready to play at the scheduled game time.
5. A match shall consist of 2 games to 21 rally score for Pool Play and best out of 3 to 15 side out scoring for Play
Offs. (changes possible)
6. Two (1) one-minute time out is allowed to each team during each match.
7. If a third game is required for completion of a match, teams will switch side of court when one team reaches 8 points.
8. Substitutions may only be made while the ball is dead. A substitute must take the position of the player he/she is
replacing.
9. Players shall conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner and shall not make remarks or create disturbances toward
the opponents or the referees.
10. Team captain and/or coach are responsible for their player’s conduct on and off the court.
11. Men’s & Boy’s: Each team is allowed two non-Asian players on the court while playing only. If the player is 1⁄2 of Asian ethnicity, then they are considered Non-Asian.
12. Women’s: Each team is allowed one non-Asian player on the court while playing only. If the player is 1⁄2 of Asian ethnicity, then they are considered Non-Asian
12. Girls: Each team is allowed two non-Asian player on the court while playing only. If the player is 1⁄2 of Asian ethnicity, then they are considered Non-Asian
