Shmoné is coming to The River for a night with a special guests Cleo Destouches & JEEPER!Shmoné - the solo musical project of the talented Idan Shoham. Rooted in the art of live looping, Idan weaves together vocals, saxophone, acoustic guitar, and a drum machine, creating an entrancing one-man-band performance. Idan sings in Hebrew, English, Italian, and French, while exploring genres from folk and jazz to blues, electronic, reggae, and pop.
Local to Margaret River and a background education at WAAPA, Cleo Destouches is an alternative pop songwriter with a strong but also delicate voice.
Having grown up in France, and with a love for travel, Cleo has an eclectic style inspired by her experiences. Flavours of RnB, jazz and pop seep through her timeless and intimate songs.
Introducing JEEPER is a genre-defying outfit giving Boorloo/Perth the medicine it needs! This sound is the perfect potion of smooth funky bass, spicy hip hop breaks, fat crunchy rock riffs and blues-flavoured vocals to cure all ills. JEEPER stirs up dark humour and wicked lyrics with sunny harmonies and irresistible grooves; boogie along to deep dives into depravity and exorcise those demons!
Originally a 4-piece from Walyalup/Fremantle, JEEPER has been making noise since 2016. After a couple of metamorphoses the 5 piece lineup now includes Chris, Zach, Sauce and jamesgeaney, with Zoe, the band’s dominatrix since 2022, at the helm.
