The Pennsylvania Browncoats and Sci-Fi Syndicate LLC are excited to invite you to Shiny New Year 2026 -- a Firefly/space travel themed dinner and dance to ring in the new year. Gather with Browncoats near and far for a fancy shindig in the spirit of the Firefly episode "Shindig". There will be a plated dinner, music from across time and space, and a champagne toast at midnight. Bring your cashy money for other libations and a raffle/auction with items any fan would love. For the past three years Shiny New Year has been fortunate to travel unharassed by both the Alliance and Reavers. However, we've seen an increase in delinquents, hooligans, and ne'er-do-wells aiming to misbehave. There were even some pirates! It's becoming a veritable hive of scum and villainy! This year, the Bounty Hunters Guild is deputizing passengers and crew alike--will you claim the bounty, or look the other way?
