Shine Your Light Summit for African American Black Student Success!

This is a no cost event to share information and resources that benefit African American, African and African Diaspora immigrant and refugee families, students, and young people.
Shine Your Light Summit creates an opportunity for connection, relationship building and establishing trust and to be together in commUNITY during Black History Month.
There will be guest speakers, featuring Latoria Marcellus from Conscious Discipline, Founders of Holistic Life Foundation and break-out workshops from the Black Student Advocate, West African Cultural Arts Institute, local energy healers, and more!
Live music by Munya! 360-photo booth! Swag prizes!
Shine Your Light Luncheon Sunday, Feb. 16th:
This is for families and young people only. This is a luncheon to introduce the African American Black Student Success Grant from the Oregon Department of Education. This is an opportunity to connect over food and for young people, parents and guardians to share their voice.
If you serve African American/Black, African/African Diaspora, Afro-Latine, and mixed youth and families you should share your resources by tabling.
