Join us for a day of celebration, culture, and community at Shine On! A National Indigenous Histories and Pride Marketplace. This free, family-friendly event promises unique vendors, engaging games, hands-on activities, and much, much more!
? Event Highlights ?
?️ Marketplace Vendors:
Explore a diverse array of booths featuring handcrafted jewelry, beautiful beadwork, tasty treats, and snazzy trinkets. Support Indigenous and 2SLGBTQIA+ artisans and take home something special.
? Craft Stations:
Get hands-on with cool crafts! From t-shirt decorating and necklace beading to button-making and face-painting, these free activities are perfect for all ages to let their creativity shine.
? Fun and Games:
Take part in our fitness challenge or get lucky playing Drag Queen Bingo, hosted by drag artist Diamond! There’s fun for everyone, from the young to the young-at-heart.
? Children’s Corner:
A dedicated area for families and children to relax and read together. Enjoy our curated selection of stories that celebrate National Indigenous Histories and Pride Month.
? Food Drive:
Donate non-perishable items for distribution to our communities. Items will be delivered to Fire Station 314 for distribution via the Daily Bread Food Bank.

? Location:
We are 350 m from Wellesley Subway station in downtown Toronto, with street parking available in front of the building (and a covered parking lot across the street). The Grosvenor Street entrance is accessible and so are the washrooms. This event will be on the second floor, accessible via stairs or an elevator.
