Shine A Light and HOUSE QUEENS join forces for a first edition at Badehaus Berlin.
Two initiatives created to push FLINTA* DJs to the front, curate together this event specially dedicated to house music, club culture, dance heritage - with FLINTA* DJs all night long!
Come early, stay late!
We’ll kick off the night with a special dance activation celebrating dance culture, in collaboration with VibeLab and to the floor e.V., powered by The Better Move. Our very special guest, Goldie, will guide us through the basics movements of Whacking, setting the mood and bringing the roots of dance culture straight to the club.
Whacking is a vibrant dance style that emerged in the gay clubs of the 1970s, shaped by African American, Latinx, and Asian communities. It’s a dance of empowerment and liberation, combining strong storytelling with technical arm movements. Come claim your space and let your most funky, groovy self shine!
This dance activation is open to everyone — no prior experience required.
