I will be hosting my annual Shimmy Into Spring Hafla (indoors) at the West Shore Senior Center in New Cumberland. There will be belly dance merch available, original art, and health & wellness vendors. I also decided to teach a dance workshop this year, before the performances (details to come). Feel free to bring a snack or a covered dish to share. Doors will open at 12:00pm, performance will be at 2:00pm. This event is FREE and open to the public💜

11:00am- 12:30pm dance workshop
2:00pm- belly dance performance
Performance details:
The belly dance performance will start at 2:00pm. Soloists will have 5 minutes, troupes will have up to 8 minutes. Dancers may perform directly on the stage (about 8 ft by 15 ft area), or on the wooden floor area in front of the stage. If you would like to perform, please email your music to: [email protected]. Your attached music must be in mp3 format along with your preferred stage name and a description of the style of belly dance you'll be presenting (list props if using any). Music due by March 17th.

*Please message me directly if you are interested in vending! Spots are limited and are on a first come/first serve basis. The fee is $30 to vend, due on the day of the event. You will have a 10 x 10 foot area to set up your merch. There are 5 foot round tables available, or you may bring your own table. Chairs will be available. Vendors may arrive at 10:00am to set up at your assigned spots. Vendors, feel free to post what you'll be bringing to the hafla!
