Shifting Sands Consultation Group

Discovering the layered meanings of therapeutic presence, archetypal energies, relational attunement, symbol language and journey themes within our therapuetic work with our clients has boundless power. Both Julia and Roz are experienced facilitators who compassionately engage group participants to share and process their expereince with client sandtrays. Participants will deepen their perspectives and understanding of client's wounding and healing journeyes through a neurobiological lens within the context of myth, culture, and story narratives. We will utilize experiential activities such as peresonal sandtray creations, embodiment of somatic experience and express art techniques to enhance Sand Therapy Competencies of Knowledge, Attitude, Skills, and Professional Engagement * including de-identified participation case presentations, discussion, and directed experiential work.

Group supervision hours are availble for RPT's and LGPC in the state of MD.

All consultation sessions will be the 3rd Friday of the Month, starting September 20, 204 and going through till June 2025. Registration for all 10 of the group consultation is a total of $1200. Payment plan options are available upon request. A deposit is required with the registration here to ensure each spot in the group consultation. Upon registration, you will receive an email confirmation from Dr. Heiko with a questionnaire, payment plan options, and dates of the group consultation.
