This roundtable will explore the shifting geopolitical dynamics between the Euro-Atlantic and the Indo-Pacific and what this means for Norway’s relations with regional partners. Perspectives from Taiwan, China and Japan.Brief intro by Wrenn Yennie Lindgren, followed by perspectives from Taiwan, China and Japan from Kristoffer Rønneberg, Heidi Østbø Haugen and Lindgren. There will be a Q&A at the end of the conversation.
Kristoffer Rønneberg is a reporter at Aftenposten, and mainly covers China, East Asia, and the United States. He is also an author and a podcast host.
Heidi Østbø Haugen is a human geographer and Professor of China Studies at the Department of Culture, Religion, and Asia and Middle East Studies at the University of Oslo.
Wrenn Yennie Lindgren is a Senior Research Fellow and Head of Center for Asian Research at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI), as well as an Associate Research Fellow at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs.
