Each week brings something new: local makers, movers, educators, artists, and community helpers.
📅 Here’s what’s coming:
🧘 Week 1 Get a taste of what’s coming this summer with a sneak peek of Kids Yoga Camp with Anaconda Yoga. Little ones will move, breathe, and playz
🌮 Week 2 Come hungry. Taco Del Sol is bringing free breakfast tacos for the first 25 people through the door, and Stop O the Morning Coffee will have flavored cold brew to get your week started right.
💃 Week 3 Shake it with your mini! Join Quincy Lee for a Mom & Mini Oula class that’s equal parts workout and dance party. No experience needed. Just show up ready to move.
🔍 Week 4 See the museum through fresh eyes with professional educator Chelsea Hogan of Montana Wonder Tours. She has a gift for bringing history to life!
📸 Week 5 Sara Morris Photography is setting up shop for mini sessions at the museum. Your first photo is on her. Additional prints and digitals available for purchase.
🌲 Week 6 Butte Montana Forest School is popping up at the mine. Expect mud, wonder, and the kind of learning that doesn’t feel like learning at all.
🎨 Week 7 Jullian’s Canvas is bringing the face paint, sponsored by the Washington Foundation. Whether your kid wants to be a butterfly, a dragon, or something completely their own invention, we’re here for it.
📖 Week 8 Slow down and settle in for a read aloud with S. Hopewell, a local children’s book author who knows how to captivate the wiggliest of humans. Story time means even more when it’s written by someone from your own backyard.
🐄 Week 9 Tiny Waste Butte and Family Recipe are bringing the farm to the museum. Come meet some four-legged friends and learn a little about where food comes from and who’s growing it in our community.
🧠 Week 10 Mining-themed sensory centers take over Hell Roarin Gulch, with the help of some incredible community kids professionals. Cassandra Cassidy LCPC, Montana Dance Works, and Headway Therapy will all be on hand to connect, play, and share what they do for Butte families.
🚒 Week 11 Big rigs and brave humans. Meet Butte’s first responders up close, climb around their vehicles, and let your kids ask every question they’ve ever had about what it takes to show up for this community.
👗 Week 12 We’re closing out the summer with a kids clothing and costume swap. Bring what your kids have outgrown, take home something new to them. One stop to prep for back to school AND Halloween. That’s just good math.
