Who are the speakers?

Raluca Bojan - Talent manager team lead & Product content manager, Remini

I’m Raluca, leading a team of talent managers focused on tech and business talent at Bending Spoons. I joined the company a little over three years ago, while I was finalizing my BSc studies in Romania, where I was studying Aerospace Engineering and Psychology. After a summer internship in the Netherlands working on air traffic control safety, I discovered Bending Spoons and decided this was the place to be.

To share just 1% of the challenges I’ve faced so far: from recruiting software engineers — the very first role I was responsible for — to organizing employer branding events in Romania, managing summer internship streams, and eventually stepping into a completely different role in content at Remini.

Since joining, I’ve witnessed tremendous growth: in the company, in our team (we were probably half the size we are today), in how we approach recruiting, and ultimately in myself. I’m confident I wouldn’t have faced as many challenges, learned as much, or worked with so many talented people elsewhere.

After completing my BSc, I moved to Amsterdam to start an MSc in Cognitive Sciences, and I’m now based in Milan, working from the office for the first time in three years. When I’m not working or studying, you’ll most likely find me traveling with my cat, hiking, or learning a new sport.

Milana Dundic - Tech Lead (in Digital Publishing)

I’m Milana, a Tech Lead at Bending Spoons, where I lead a team of 12 engineers working on Issuu and Loomly. I studied Software Engineering in Belgrade, Serbia — where I’m originally from — and started my career in startups before joining Bending Spoons around 5 years ago as an Android engineer on Splice. Within my first year, I grew into an Android Tech Lead role, and since then I’ve led tech teams across Alight Motion, Remini, and now Digital Publishing.

Along the way, I expanded beyond mobile, diving into web technologies, building prototypes, and running small-scale data analyses to support product decisions. Today, my role is less about a specific platform and more about applying strong engineering fundamentals to build high-performing teams, ship impactful products, and make pragmatic, well-informed decisions.

Outside of work, I’m usually outdoors: climbing, surfing, running, practicing acroyoga.. Always trying something new and maximizing the time spent in nature.
