She’s In Parties are a hazy and ethereal quartet whose own idiosyncratic amalgamation of indie rock and dream-pop belies their relatively young years. The band is led by 22 year oldIrish born singer, Katie Dillon, alongside her friends Herbie Wiseman (Lead Guitar), CharlieJohnson (Bass) and Matt Carman (Drums). Taking their cues from the likes of Tears For Fears, Cocteau Twins and The Cure, the band harbor a sense of nostalgia whilst avoiding being derivative. Instead they succeed in marrying the classic and contemporary, resulting in anaesthetic and sound that’s both haunting and effortlessly cool.
