Sherman Park Grocery Healthy Choices Cooler Kickoff

Join us at Sherman Park Grocery for a community kickoff celebrating the launch of a new healthy grab-and-go cooler inside the store.

This effort grew out of a small focus group with neighborhood residents, conducted in partnership with UW–Madison Extension and Cross Lutheran Church Food Pantry, where people shared that time and convenience are real barriers to eating well. In response, the store is adding ready-to-eat healthy options (supported by simple nutrition education signage)to make healthier choices easier in the Sherman Park community.

This is a store-led, community-rooted effort focused on strengthening everyday access to healthy food. This cooler is part of Sherman Park Grocery’s expanded deli offerings, developed in response to feedback from neighborhood customers.
