Shepherd Concert Brass

Following the success of the Shepherd Concert Brass Band at St Helen’s Church in

October 2025 we are delighted to announce that they will be returning to perform at

St Helen’s, Escrick on Saturday 3 October, at 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm start. There will

be a break for refreshments after around 40-45 minutes.

The Shepherd Brass Band organisation, comprises five bands and around 200

musicians and is one of the largest and most proficient in the country. While the

whole ‘staircase of talent’ aims to develop the skills and confidence of the musicians,

young and old, the Concert Brass provides a more light-hearted, varied and fun form

of entertainment. Its success is confirmed by repeat bookings, as far apart as Filey

and Regent’s Park, London with many in between.

Demand for this concert is sure to be strong and tickets at £10 each can be

purchased in advance through Eventbrite (plus booking fee), although space

permitting, will also be available on the door. Tickets include drinks and a light
