In Chinese medicine, shen is seen in the eyes and shows how much you are living from your heart and spirit. It is the fire element and energy.
In moments of chaos, the Shen goes a blaze and can destroy. A more peaceful representation of shen is a dove. It will fly away. When the person is still/empty, the shen returns. This is the return of your true spirit. Tea is medicine, it is a ShenTonic.
The Cha Ga tea practice of stillness. Stillness allows your shen to come back to peace, grace, compassion, wisdom, truth, and courage.
Join me in this 1 1/2 hr ritual with gong fu/bowl tea ceremony, to cultivate and restore community, stillness, creativity, healing and harmony.
