Fans of the 90’s, you don’t want to miss this one, as the Linsmore Tavern is welcoming to our stage on Saturday July 25th, Shenanigans Toronto’s 90s Green Day Cover Band with 30 Below – 90’s Grunge Cover Band! Shenanigans (90s Green Day covers) and 30 below (grunge/alternative covers) are teaming up to give you 2 sets each of non-stop sing-along bangers. This one is going to be a lot of fun with a lot of music going deep into the AM! The show starts at 9pm, tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door!
30 Below:
30 Below is a four-piece grunge and alternative rock band bringing the raw energy of the ‘90s and early 2000s back to life. Fueled by distorted guitars, thunderous rhythms, and powerful vocals, the band channels the spirit of an era defined by artists like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains — delivering both faithful tributes to the classics and a stage presence that’s entirely their own.

The members of Shenanigans- Brad (drums/kazoo), Matt (guitar/vocals), Italo (bass/vocals) have been playing punk music together on and off with several projects over approximately 25 years. In 2025 they committed to playing their favourite songs, from their favourite era of their favourite band- Green Day. Taking hits and deep cuts from Green Day’s now neglected 90s era (from inception ‘til around 2002) for high energy performances where no two setlists are ever the same.
For their Linsmore debut, Shenanigans will be playing two sets, one of which will be an authentic Woodstock ‘94 set (mud probably not included).
The Band
Angela – Vocals
Angela discovered her voice in high school choir before being drawn to the emotional intensity of grunge and alternative rock. Inspired by powerhouse vocalists like Courtney Love and Shirley Manson, she spent years fronting local acts and honing her craft at open mic nights before finding her home in 30Below. Her dynamic range — capable of haunting restraint and full-throttle power — is the emotional anchor of the band.
Dave – Drums
Dave started playing drums at age nine, converting his parents’ basement into a makeshift practice space that the neighbours still haven’t forgiven him for. A lifelong student of the groove, he’s drawn to the heavy, deliberate pocket drumming of Dave Grohl and Matt Cameron. After years playing in a series of local rock outfits, he connected with the 30Below crew and found the outlet his style was always built for.
Josh – Lead Guitar
Josh picked up his first guitar at thirteen after watching a Alice in Chains concert on late-night TV and immediately decided he needed to make that much noise. Self-taught and obsessively dedicated, he spent his teens learning every Nirvana and Stone Temple Pilots riff he could find. Josh brings a fluid, expressive playing style to 30Below — equally comfortable with sludgy power chords and melodic lead work.
Anthony – Guitar
Anthony started playing rhythm guitar in his early teens, drawn in by the layered, textured sound of ‘90s alternative bands. Over the years he played in a variety of rock projects, developing a sharp ear for arrangement and a locked-in chemistry with whoever was holding down the low end. In 30Below, Anthony anchors the guitar work, giving Josh the space to soar while keeping the band’s sound thick and grounded.
