Speaker: Fr. Andrew ClarkTopic: “Fear and Control or Patience and Peace: Lessons from a Year of Hearing Confessions.”
We usually struggle with the same sins over and over again. Many times we seek to address the sin without dealing with the underlying vice. The vices we struggle with are not always what we think, especially if we simply float on the surface of our conscious. Very often fear and the desire to control are at the root of our sins. It is patient and trust which lead to the peace Our Father wishes to give us through the pierced hands of His Son.
BIO: Father Andrew Clark grew up in the Shenandoah Valley as the second of eight children and is a graduate of Christendom College. Three years after graduating he entered the seminary for the diocese of Arlington and attended St. Charles Borromeo seminary in the archdiocese of Philadelphia. He was ordained to the priesthood of Jesus Christ in 2023 and is assigned to Blessed Sacrament parish in Alexandria Virginia.
