Mixed Media class by Nancy Schryer"Shelter from the Storm" (Frog beneath the Mushroom)
This class is for all levels- please leave your email so that I can email you the directions ahead of time and bring scissors and a hairdryer.
Also, you are welcome to bring your lunch. We will be painting with watercolor on canvas and using papers and glue for the collage. I will provide all the supplies, but you are welcome to bring your own paint and papers to color coordinate to your preference. If you have stamps bring them- we will throw the kitchen sink at this one

You must sign up before class so the teacher can prepare enough supplies for paid students.
**Cancellation policy is there are no cash refunds. If you cancel 24 hours before class, you will be issued a credit.**

Artist Statement
As a child I was always interested in painting but when it came to high school and college my father steered me away from the arts to my other love- science, and a career that would "support me".
So, after 45 years of caring for kids as a pediatric critical care RN and serving in leadership roles in various Children's Hospitals around the States I retired, moved to Hayward WI and immediately studied watercolor painting.
The immense beauty that surrounds us is a never-ending muse that wants me to paint, paint PAINT!
Like every artist, my work is a culmination of inspiration from my life's journey and life lessons. My creativity, however, has always come from nature. Watercolor is my main medium as I love the transparency and way the colors
play with each other. I use archival materials and frame my own work mostly using reclaimed wooden frames.
"God is the true artist, the rest of us just paint". My hope is that my work brings joy.
