We’re excited to welcome you to a special charity support day at Community Corner in aid of Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity.

Shelter works to support people facing homelessness, poor housing conditions, and housing insecurity. They provide expert advice, emergency support, and legal services to help individuals and families keep a roof over their heads, find safe accommodation, and understand their housing rights. They also campaign for lasting change to tackle the housing crisis and end homelessness for good.

Throughout the day, our team will be on hand to share more information about the incredible work Shelter does and how you can help make a difference. There will also be a member of staff from Shelter available throughout the day if you have any questions about the organisation or would like to learn more about the support and services they provide.

As part of the day, we’ll also be hosting a charity bake sale in the waiting area at Violet Melchett Health & Wellbeing Hub, where everyone is warmly welcome to come along for coffee, cake, and great company. There will be a wonderful selection of delicious treats, generously donated by our amazing staff.

All proceeds from the bake sale and fundraising activities will go directly to Shelter, helping them continue their vital work supporting people in need of safe and secure housing.

This is a cause we are truly passionate about supporting, and we would love for as many people as possible to join us. Everyone is welcome.

Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee, bringing friends and family, or simply coming to show your support, every contribution will help.
