Shelby Kemp (Trio) and Sam Sample (Band)

Shelby Kemp is an Internationally touring blues and roots artist from South Mississippi. With his raspy southern drawl, and his skill in both slide and finger style guitar playing, Shelby brings a fresh spirit to the classic Delta Blues sound.

Winner of the 2024 Telluride Blues Challenge, Shelby has toured the US and Europe with the Blues Rock band The Lucky Strokes led by guitarist Eddie Roberts, and regularly plays the frontman role for his trio with The Galbraith Sisters, and the longtime Mississippi staples, Royal Horses.

Shelby has performed at festivals alongside acts such as The Black Crowes and Gov't Mule, and has shared the stage with players such as The New Mastersounds, Duane Betts, Marcus King, Lamar Williams Jr, Jennifer Hartswick, and many others.

Sam Sample proves that hard work and vision can turn dreams to reality. Her self-coined AmeriRock sound blends Americana storytelling with the edge of indie and alternative rock. Self-funded through her 9-5, she invests every spare dollar and hour into her songwriting. Her debut album I’m Moving to the Moon, recorded between her NYC apartment and Bear Creek Studio with Grammy-nominated producer Ryan Hadlock (Zach Bryan, The Lumineers, Brandi Carlile, Vance Joy) and Taylor James Carroll (Waylon Wyatt, Wyatt Flores)—has surpassed 2.5 million streams across platforms and sparked sold-out shows. Rooted in her Georgia upbringing and sharpened by her Manhattan drive and UK 20s, Sam's lyrics weave in tales from her neuroscience background and are praised for their raw, reflective emotional depth. Sam has just wrapped her HOMECOMING headline tour of the American south and is gearing up for the release of her sophomore LP, "Look in the Mirror and Beg,” and first festival bill at Americanafest this fall.
