Join SheJumps as we celebrate – a nationwide campaign uniting women and girls- transgender and cisgender- as well as non-binary individuals to embrace the great outdoors while fostering a sense of adventure and camaraderie. Spurred by International Women's Day, this program is a call to action for participants of all ages to connect with nature, break down barriers, and celebrate their achievements and strengths throughout the month of March. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a newcomer, the Get the Girls Out! gatherings aim to foster a community where participants can thrive outdoors, inspire one another and younger generations, forge new connections, and rekindle friendships. Grab your friends, and get ready to make unforgettable memories!

Cost: Free! While this is a free event at the resort, participants are responsible for their own lift ticket & gear. Early registration gets you one free raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased during registration at the event.

Lift Tickets: Please be sure to purchase lift tickets through Alyeska Resort. Lift tickets are not included in event registration.

$1 Demos from Powder Hound: Event registrants will receive a discount code for $1 demos at Powder Hound. Discount code will be emailed after registration through Eventbrite the day before event.

Days activities: Group meet up, group skiing, mountain & base area activities, RAFFLE - win a pair of K2 Skis and other raffle prizes from Pit Viper, Stio, Powder Hound, Skhoop, Skinny Raven and more!

All day activities include: Helmet TuTu making, Golden Girafficorn Scavenger Hunt, Demos from Powder Hound, plus lots of prizes and goodies! Stop by the tent to learn more!

All activities will start at the SheJumps tent in front of the Day Lodge at Alyeska Resort!

What to wear: The ideal clothing allows for unrestricted movement and comfort while skiing. Dress in layers to allow you to quickly and easily regulate your temperature. Modern, breathable fabrics such as polyester, nylon or wool blends breathe well and don’t absorb sweat. Avoid cotton as it will keep you cold once it gets wet. Make sure to wear or bring clothing that will protect you from the elements: a cold wind or wet snow can quickly chill an unprepared skier.

***Feel free to bring your inner Girafficorn and wear colorful, silly, and unique attire. Costumes are encouraged! Do you have some amazing leggings and a tutu? A stellar onesie? Vintage ski gear? A fun wig? Throw it on!***

Who can attend? We welcome all women and girls (transgender and cisgender) as well as non-binary people to attend this event. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire event.

Parking and getting to the event: There is free parking at the Alyeska daylodge parking lot and parking by the hotel. For more information about public transport and traveling to Alyeska, check out the resorts "Getting Here" page here.

Facility & accessibility information: Gendered restrooms are available in the Daylodge. Alyeska is ADA accessible. Adaptive skiers and riders are welcome to attend and participate!

Rental information: Skis & Snowboards can be rented at Powder Hound and Alyeska Daylodge.
