Getting to The Griffin!
There is parking available around Bath Street/Blythswood Square area. Please double-check the terms but a lot of it is free after 6pm. You’re welcome to try Garnethill too; parking is paid until 10 pm there.
If there is a show on at the King's Theatre (just across the road from the Griffin) they will be a lot fewer parking spaces available.
The closest train station is Charing Cross, with the closest subway being Cowcaddens. Anderston train station can be walkable too but not ideal in the evening, so we wouldn’t recommend that.
For buses, the following services run along Bath Street or near the pub:
6A, 60/60A, 61, 240, 255 and X8
Number 77 and Number 15 Bus from Buchanan street, onto Cathedral street outside Queen street station and all along Bath street. Stops right outside the Kings Theatre.
Return journey on these buses at the bus stop in Sauchiehall street. Turn right as you are leaving the Griffin.
Number 4/4a from Southside to Hope street, stops outside Central station, then to to top of Hope street/Bath st. Turns right onto Bath st, stops right outside the Kings Theatre. Again turns right on leaving the Griffin.
