The Sheffield EMOM returns in 2025 with another variety performance of electronic music, and it's already shaping up to be another superb line-up!We are following another Friday format, with open mic slots from 6:30-10:30, followed by 3 curated headline slots for some lively dancing till the end.
For people wanting to perform, please take note of the following:
email [email protected] to apply and please give your name, artist name, and where you're from, and I'll be in touch with further info.
While I try to agree slots on all the social media platforms via messages and posts, it has become increasingly difficult to maintain a fair system this way. So can I please ask that artists email me for slots to perform after the event details are released. We want to maintain a fair rotation of musicians whilst also giving newcomers priority. This helps keep the events inclusive, fresh and fair (and is far easier for me to organise). I am deeply grateful for the interest this event receives which is there to nurture and share our love of all things (electronic) music!
Haggler's will be providing decent beer, food, sounds, friendly staff and the usual, appreciative and diverse EMOM community.
Entry to the entire venue and all the events within costs £3 after 10:30, and is free before then, so get down early, there really will be a lot to see and enjoy!
Now for the headliner info:
Musaji, Manchester based brothers Esh, and Adam take huge influence from the sound of 90s electro, breakbeat and acid techno. Previously a guitarist and drummer, post COVID the duo decided to pursue their passion for the dance-floor and learn relentlessly how to mix , produce and perform in between their day jobs. They started to uncover their sound in 2024 through DJ Sets , hardware performances, remixes and had their first original release with plans for more in 2025!

Valentich, will be coming all the way from Worcestershire, bringing their deep, ethereal, melodic, industrial darkwave/techno sound to the stage. They have a sizeable back catalogue of releases and are no stranger to the EMOM nights around the country.

Opposable Drums play live music in a way that is free of the computers, sequencers and loopers that are usually associated with electronic music. This approach allows them to improvise and tune in to the dancers and audience in a way that is more dynamic and responsive. Their approach brings together different genres of music into a coherent whole, including tribal percussion, breakbeats, house, techno, drum and bass, jazz and drone.
